Malmesbury Carnival Radio Schedule
We are going to be bringing you delectable Carnival delicacies over August as well as a great selection of our regular wonderful spoken word features and more fantastic DJs.
So message us your favourite summertime song requests for the Party in your Garden coming up this Saturday...We might not be able to party together but we can party simultaneously....
Sat 8th August:
7pm - We kick off with the Party in the Garden, as well as wonderful readings, a report from our regular Roaming Reporter in the Forest of Dean and memories of past Carnivals...
9pm – DJ Steve Cox Returns....
10pm – Sheer Isolation Music podcast - promoting the music scene in the West of England. Created by Kieran Moore in Trowbridge and Jon Ponting near Cricklade.
Sunday 9th August
7pm – Malmesbury Sessions DJs Andy, Dave, Brian and Ben Gray chat to local musicians and play some tunes - operated live from London, Cambridge + Colorado.
9pm - DJ Chas Gould brings us a great set
This weekend is going to be HOT!
Coming up throughout August a great selection of shows including Historical Desert Island Discs featuring well known historical figures (Warning: may contain historical inaccuracies....), our Megatronic Music Quiz, an Evening with Oscar Wilde and so much more...as well as fab DJs and great spoken word contributions...
This is an inclusive community project, bringing people from Malmesbury and the surrounding area together with a shared purpose to develop both skills and self-esteem. Programmes will include coverage and promotion of local events, guest DJs with their unique selection of music, interviews, spoken word readings and local history, and some downright silly features too...
